Race 10 km Between Main Beach and Miami

Open to members of AKSA with current insurance

$5,000.00 in cash and prizes to be won

9am - Riders Meeting at GCI

9:30am - Riders to bring equipment to event site

10am - PKRA Freestyle, Wave

12pm - Capoera show, Skydiving displays, Zumba

2pm - Melbas 10km Sprint Race Start

3:30pm - Pick up from Miami beach Finish Line

4pm - Back on site at Narrowneck

4:30pm - Show Discipline Free Ride Session

6pm - Close up site, Storage of Equipment

8pm - Meeting at Melbas for Steaks

9pm - After party at Melbas

AKSA are pleased to support the PKRA World Kitesurfing Tour which is coming to the Gold Coast, Queensland from 5- 12 December 2010, in association with Nissan X-Trail, Gold Coast City Council, Queensland Events, Gold Coast Tourism, Queensland Tourism, Cabrinha, Ekken Power Bands and Coates Hire.

AKSA are also please to support the Red Bull Kite Cross on 11 and 12 December 2010.

There will be a 10 km downwind race on the Opening Day with $5,000.00 in cash and prizes to be won. This is open to all members of AKSA to compete.

The 2010 Gold Coast PKRA Kitesurfing World Tour will consist of both Freestyle and Wave Disciplines.

Please come and show your support for the Australian riders.

Currently Andy Yates of Australia looks set to win the World Championship.
