Event Description

At 2PM on Saturday October 24th, Kitethrills is organizing a fly-over of Caloundra's beaches, and we need you to be there, kitesurfing or flying your trainer kite, to make an incredible spectacle, raise awareness, and send a message to our politicians that we want an international treaty to reach 350ppm and stop climate change. We need at least 350 kitesurfers to hit the beaches for the 2PM fly-over.
People in more than 1000 communities around the globe have already announced plans. As actions take place around the world the pictures will be linked and by the end of the day, 350.org will have a powerful visual petition linking together the entire planet that can be delivered to the media and world leaders. Pictures of the kites will be blown up on huge outdoor screens outside the Copenhagen Climate Change Summit and outside UN office in New York during the Climate Change Summit.
